Jesus Christ, our loving, caring, compassionate, faithful, and forgiving Lord and Savior wants to meet us as we are, no matter where we are. Jesus wants to take the burden of our hurts, habits, and hang-ups and give us freedom from our past, found in the 8 Principles and 12 Steps of Celebrate Recovery. He has commissioned each of us who believe in Him to take His message to all people, no matter who they are or where they are. We are not the ones who get to choose who needs to hear the message of God's forgiveness, grace, and mercy.
For those who are part of the Celebrate Recovery Inside Team, as God’s hands and feet, we are the ones commissioned to take His message of healing and forgiveness to those who might not hear that message any other way while incarcerated. We are honored and blessed to share with our brothers & sisters in our prison system the tools God that has provided to overcome their addictions and other destructive behaviors such as drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual sin, anger, depression and fear. The tools, we are hopeful, will help them grow beyond their struggles into the freedom found in Jesus Christ, to better equip them for their life as a grateful believer in Jesus Christ whether still on the inside, or preparing them for transitioning back into life on the outside. Our Celebrate Recovery Inside Team meets weekly at the NH State Prison for Men and the NH Correctional Facility for Women in Concord.
